“A place of healing, support and social action for young women”
NEWS & CURRENT EVENTS
Zig Zag is joining with Bahloo women’s youth shelter to celebrate on Thursday 12th March to mark this day. We would love young women to join us.
Zig Zag continues to go to the north side and has appointments at the Zillmere Community Centre once a fortnight on a Monday. If it is easier for you to get to the North side rather than Camp Hill then contact us to make a time for Zillmere.
Royal Commission to investigate Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
Whilst this Commission started in January 2013, Zig Zag is aware that it is still an ongoing process. As a result, young women may hear/see things in the media that get them thinking about their own experiences. Young women may still also be considering if they wish to contribute to it at all. If you are a young woman who wants to talk with someone about the Commission and something that it connects to in your life, remember you are very welcome to talk with a Zig Zag worker.
